We have an amazing set of songs to learn in this session of Cantate as we grow as musicians and children of God. Since we are working on more complex music, keep in mind that this group has mandatory weekly attendance. If your schedule is able to support this kind of commitment, then we will happily hear your audition! If your life is very full and you are likely to miss multiple rehearsals (2 or more), then wait to audition until you have more availability.
Students must be enrolled in Cantate 2 to participate in Ensemble. Every singer, whether new or returning to Ensemble, must complete an audition. Do not be afraid! This is a good process to go through as it builds confidence while you learn the part, record yourself and send it in. Each singer is expected to learn their part by themselves. Singers may use a piano as needed. We need to see that the singer has at least a basic ability to read music.
