We are pleased to offer four choral groups for a variety of ages.
Jubilate (ages 4-8)

Jubilate is an engaging 45-minute rehearsal geared for students ages 4 through around 8 years old. These eager young singers memorize the same rhythm, pitch and vocal production skills as the older singers but in an age-appropriate and a high-energy setting. As they play folk song games and perform in concerts, Jubilate members interact with each other and learn how to function as a musical group.
Cantate 1 (ages 7-13)

Cantate 1 introduces students to the fundamentals of reading and performing choral music. During each 75-minute rehearsal, singers learn essential music concepts, practice reading choral scores, and enjoy lively folk songs and musical games that reinforce learning while keeping rehearsals engaging.
Each student receives a choral notebook and uses two-part choral music as a practical tool for developing music-reading skills and healthy vocal technique. Singers are also invited to participate in our Small Group Coaching program so they can advance in our Choral Skills packets, earning rank promotions as they demonstrate mastery of new concepts and skills.
Cantate 2 (ages 12-19)
Cantate 2 is designed for students who are ready to take the next step in their musical development. Participation in this ensemble requires passing a basic pitch-matching assessment, ensuring that singers are prepared for the increased musical challenges of the group.
During each 75-minute rehearsal, students strengthen their music-reading abilities while receiving vocal training tailored to their developing voices. Singers work with three- and four-part choral music, building confidence, independence, and ensemble skills. Students also continue progressing through our Choral Skills program, testing on packets and earning rank promotions as they demonstrate mastery of new concepts.
With enthusiasm and growing musical maturity, Cantate 2 students prepare and perform quality choral literature, singing from sheet music in concerts throughout the year.
Ensemble

Cantate Ensemble is our advanced choir for singers who are ready to tackle challenging and rewarding choral literature. Membership is by audition and requires students to demonstrate the ability to read music with a degree of independence while collaborating effectively within small sectional groups to learn and refine their parts.
Ensemble singers perform sophisticated choral works featuring five, six, or more vocal parts, developing advanced musicianship, vocal technique, and ensemble skills. Repertoire spans a wide variety of styles, including jazz, gospel, classical, and even collegiate-level choral literature, providing students with a rich and engaging musical experience.
Through dedicated rehearsal and performance, Ensemble members are challenged to grow as confident musicians while experiencing the joy and artistry of exceptional choral singing.
Greetings in the name of Jesus,
I am a Christian composer and arranger from Asheville, NC, and I’ve done some unique arrangements of Amazing Grace (“How Sweet the Sound” and “Now I See”) and “He Who Would valiant Be” (from John Bunyan’s “Pilgrim’s Progress”). I’ve also written a choral setting for the 23rd Psalm that has a Celtic sound. I’m looking for a choir to sing these and record them for me. Currently, the only demos I have of them is the computer “singing” them. I can give you any and all of the music if you will agree to record them and let me use the recordings for my demos and marketing. They would probably be best suited for the oldest group. Of course, your choirs and homeschool group will get credit, including links to your website and social media. You can check out the music at https://www.salt-cellar-creations.com/choral Once you’ve decided on which ones you’d like, please email me and I’ll send you the files. The only thing you’ll need to do is print them!
Blessings,
John Daniels
Hello John,
If you are still interested, we’d like to perform some of your music! Quality Christian music is SO difficult to find these days for choirs! I hope that you are still composing and arranging for the Lord!
Blessings, Carrie Jo Mangle
